Privacy policy

Pedalmapper (pedalmapper.com) is operated by Millionhari LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you log in we receive your email address. If you use Google or GitHub sign-in, we also receive the name and profile picture that provider shares. You may add a username and display name.
- Content you create. Pedalboards and their layouts, comments, votes, catalog edit suggestions, and any audio, photos, video or images you upload. Boards you mark public, and your comments on them, are visible to anyone.
- Technical information. Our hosting providers automatically log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) to operate and secure the service.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and a preference cookie that remembers how you sort the pedal catalog. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
When you click a retailer link and leave our site, that retailer (or its affiliate network, such as Amazon Associates, eBay Partner Network, impact.com, Awin or Sovrn) may set its own cookies to attribute your purchase to us. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's privacy policy, not this one. See our affiliate disclosure.
How we use information
- To provide the service: saving your boards, showing your public builds, and signing you in.
- To keep the service secure and to prevent abuse and spam.
- To review catalog suggestions and improve pedal data.
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a few providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), Amazon Web Services (image delivery), and Google or GitHub if you choose them for sign-in. They may only use the data to provide their services to us.
Retention
We keep your account and content for as long as your account exists. When you delete a board it is removed from the site. Uploaded files may remain in storage until they are purged; email us to have them removed right away. Server logs are kept by our hosting providers for a limited period.
Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete your boards at any time. To access, correct, export or delete your account and associated data, email hello@pedalmapper.com. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we hold about you and to object to certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Children
Pedalmapper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and access to our database is restricted by per-user access rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
